Better at Home

Better at Home provides affordable non-medical home support services to seniors in Kelowna, West Kelowna, Lake Country and Peachland. Funded by the Government of British Columbia and managed by the United Way of the Lower Mainland.

Eldernet

Computer mentoring and basic skills training provided by volunteers, at our office location. Also learn tablets, ipads and smartphones!

Information & Referral

Seniors Outreach receives referrals/requests from seniors, community professionals, family, neighbours and caregivers and refers callers to our own programs and other services in the community.

Elder Guide

ElderGuide is our directory of services for seniors in the Kelowna area, created for our community. It provides valuable information about a variety of issues including home care and support, meals and food services, transportation, social options and much more. It is available in our office for a fee or online.

Regional Housing Program

Drop in Tuesdays

Assistance is available to review housing options, provide low income housing applications and assist with Safer rent subsidy forms at our weekly drop-in session every Tuesday from 1-3.

Housing Options Information Sessions

Provides the opportunity to learn about various housing and resource options available to seniors in their community. We strive to provide accurate, pertinent information for seniors and their families.

Seniors Regional Housing Directory

Is a comprehensive directory of Kelowna housing providers, their amenities, services, location and costs. The housing directory is available anytime online, or in print through our office for a fee.

Seniors 'Coffee' Breaks

Provides a social opportunity for seniors to meet other seniors in their own neighbourhoods, and make connections. Volunteer hosts welcome participants. Drop-in at any group; no fee or registration required. See Community Events for locations and times , or just contact us for more information.
