Operates a pontoon boat for the purpose of taking groups of seniors and people with disabilities for short outings on the lake, weekdays for outings of one to two hours through July and September.

Availability is on a first come basis. Cruises are generally 1-2 hours in length, Monday to Friday, weather permitting, departing from the Dockside Marina on the West side of the Bridge.

The boat can carry seven to ten people and one wheelchair, two able bodied persons must come with the passengers!

The Kelowna Newcomers’ Club (fondly called KNC) is a non-profit, activities-based social group designed to let you meet people and make great new friends.

For just $25.00 a year (all memberships renew on September 1st) you can take part in as many as 20 activities with like-minded people also new to the community.

Meetings are held every third Thursday of the month from September to June. Doors open at 6:45 pm and the speaker is scheduled for 7:15 pm. There are no meetings in July, August or December.
