Better at Home

Better at Home provides community-based services from volunteers, contractors and our local partners. Better at Home supports the non-medical needs of older adults in Kelowna, West Kelowna, and Lake Country. These services are aimed to help seniors stay independent in their own homes.

Available services include:

Housekeeping
Transportation
Lawn Care
Grocery Shopping and Delivery
Snow Removal
Minor Home Repairs

A senior happy to receive their better at home delivery

How it works

This program is available for seniors aged 65+ who live independently. A client intake will be completed by our Better at Home coordinator to assess how the program will benefit them. Please contact us for more information or to have an intake scheduled.

This program is funded by the Government of British Columbia and managed by the United Way British Columbia.

We are a local partner with this healthy eating initiative that supports our communities’ farmers and strengthens food security for older adults in Kelowna. Seniors Outreach provides lower-income seniors with $108/month in coupons to be redeemed at our local Farmers Market.
