Better at Home
Better at Home provides community-based services from volunteers, contractors and our local non-profit organization. Better at Home supports the non-medical needs of older adults in Kelowna, West Kelowna, and Lake Country. These services are aimed to help seniors stay independent in their own homes.

Information & Navigation Supports
Our information & referral service helps connect seniors with resources available in our community.
We are here to listen to your concerns, help you find answers, solve problems, and connect you or a loved one to needed supports.

Coffee Break Group
Coffee break is a group that meets weekly to allow older adults in the area to get to know each other. This is a casual drop in group for seniors who would like to chat over their morning coffee.

ElderNet Mentoring
ElderNet is a volunteer run group that meets weekly. Volunteers mentor older adults who can drop in on Wednesdays from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. All participants must bring their own devices and will have one-one help from a volunteer mentor with using their devices.

Volunteer Tax Program
We offer a volunteer-based tax preparation program for LOW INCOME seniors with SIMPLE returns ONLY.
We are NOT tax specialists or accountants and cannot answer your detailed tax questions. Those must be referred to Canada Revenue Agency.

Housing Directory
A local directory for low-income, supportive, long-term and assisted living for Seniors! There are Low-income housing (“Subsidized”), long-term care, supportive housing, and assisted living options.

Senior Centre Without Walls
Senior Centre Without Walls (SCWW) aims to connect seniors to others in our local community entirely over the telephone or virtually through a computer, tablet, or smartphone . This service is available for older adults who are 65+.

Linked Together
Linked Together connects seniors to a variety of non-medical community supports in order to improve their health and well-being.

Seniors Contact
Provides brief, daily phone calls to ensure the well-being and safety of vulnerable seniors living alone and who do not have a caregiver or someone to check or visit them on a daily basis.
