Seniors Activity Centre

Senior Recreation Programs for the Active Ager

Seniors 55+ years in Kelowna and region are invited to participate in our friendly social recreation programs at the Seniors Centre 1353 Richter Street:

How It Works

Seniors Outreach has consolidated programs with the Kelowna Senior Citizens’ Society of British Columbia at the Seniors Activity Centre at 1353 Richter Street!

The Centre provides a variety of social recreation and educational opportunities in a friendly environment. The programs are possible thanks to the wisdom and generosity of seniors who volunteer and host activities. While there are fees to participate, they are affordable. The Centre’s membership is $5.

The Centre hosts recreation activities organized by both our members and associations who rent space for their activities. Member-run programs include dance, bridge, and mahjong. Associations who rent space include Let’s Play Bridge Kelowna; Kelowna Calligraphers’ Guild; Kelowna Stamp Club; 1120 Rock Club; PROBUS Club of Kelowna-Ogopogo; Kelowna Palette Club; BC Old Time Fiddlers Association, and more.

Please see our Monthly Calendar for current and next month’s activities. Please download our MEMBERSHIP FORM if you wish to register today!

NOTE: Associations benefitting from affordable rents for their activities, are distinct groups who have their own registration process. We can provide you with their contact information if you wish to learn more. They are open to new participants for the activities they love to do!
