Linked Together connects seniors to a variety of non-medical community supports in order to improve their health and well-being.
These services include:
- Nutritional supports
- Physical activity
- General information and referral
- Social opportunities.
*Due to Covid-19 the social opportunities that Linked Together is connecting participants with will be “virtual” until further notice.
How it works
This program is a referral-only for seniors 65+ living in Kelowna, BC. Seniors must be referred by a health professional such as a: family general practitioner, social worker, specialist or Interior Health mental health clinician.
This program is funded by the BC Ministry of Health and managed by United Way of the Lower Mainland’s Healthy Aging program.

Senior Centre Without Walls
Senior Centre Without Walls (SCWW) aims to connect seniors to others in our local community entirely over the telephone or virtually through a computer, tablet, or smartphone . This service is available for Okanagan residents who are 65+.
Companion housing is a way of connecting compatible people to share a home and support one another in a mutually beneficial manner. Participation is available as a home provider (host) where you will rent out a spare room in your home to a person of your choice, which could be a 55+ adult, or even a responsible university student.
