Silver Song Group

Silver Song Group is a participatory-singing and musical activity program for seniors.

The program is not ‘performance’. Rather, we provide 90-minute sessions that are delivered by professional musicians, who encourage attendees of all abilities to join in the fun of singing together. We also have a mid-session social break and refreshments that people enjoy.

How It Works

Our Silver Song Groups run weekly from September to May at the following locations:

  • Kelowna: Sarsons Activity Centre (4398 Hobson Road) on Mondays 10:00 am -11:30 am
  • Vernon: Schubert Centre (3505 30th Avenue) on Tuesdays 10:00 am -11:30 am
  • West Kelowna: The Heritage (3630 Brown Road) on Wednesdays 10:00 am -11:30 am

Our program is generously supported by a donation from the Sienna for Seniors Foundation.

The Silver Song Group is presented by Seniors Outreach & Resource Centre (Kelowna & Region) and was first established by the former Canadian Chapter of the UK originating charity Sing For Your Life.
